Beef Ham Cheese Croissants (Printable Version)

Flaky croissants filled with savory beef, ham, and melty cheese, crisped to perfection.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Croissant Dough

01 - 4 ready-to-bake croissant dough triangles from refrigerated tube or homemade

→ Fillings

02 - 4 slices cooked roast beef
03 - 4 slices ham
04 - 4 slices Swiss or cheddar cheese

→ Optional Enhancements

05 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
06 - 1 tablespoon softened butter for brushing

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the air fryer to 350°F for 3 minutes before beginning preparation.
02 - Unroll the croissant dough and separate into 4 individual triangles on a clean work surface.
03 - Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard onto each triangle if using, covering the surface evenly.
04 - Place 1 slice of roast beef, 1 slice of ham, and 1 slice of cheese on the wide end of each dough triangle.
05 - Roll each croissant starting from the wide end toward the point, tucking in sides to enclose the filling completely.
06 - Place croissants seam-side down in the air fryer basket, spacing them apart to allow proper air circulation.
07 - Brush tops lightly with softened butter if desired, then air fry for 7 to 8 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
08 - Let croissants cool in the basket for 2 to 3 minutes before serving to allow cheese to set slightly.

# Top Tips:

01 -
  • The contrast between shatteringly flaky pastry and warm, melty cheese filling hits different on busy mornings
  • Ready in under 20 minutes but tastes like something from a fancy café
02 -
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket or these will steam instead of crisp up beautifully
  • The cooling time is not optional, the cheese needs a moment to set or it will ooze everywhere when you bite in
03 -
  • Cold fillings help prevent the cheese from melting too quickly while you roll
  • If the dough gets too warm while working, pop it in the fridge for 5 minutes to handle easier
