19 - 1 tsp smoked paprika
20 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
21 - 1/2 tsp salt
22 - 1/4 tsp black pepper

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Combine ground turkey, onion, garlic, egg, parsley, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl. Mix until just combined. Form into 4 equal patties.
03 - Place sweet potato fries on the prepared baking sheet. Toss with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Spread fries in a single layer.
04 - Bake sweet potato fries for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
05 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook turkey patties for 6 to 7 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F.
06 - Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty in the last minute of cooking. Cover skillet to melt cheese.
07 - Toast burger buns if desired. Layer bottom bun, lettuce, turkey patty with melted cheese, tomato, red onion, sauces, and top bun.
08 - Serve immediately with hot sweet potato fries on the side.

# Top Tips:

01 -
  • The patties stay juicy because the egg and onion keep the lean turkey moist
  • Sweet potato fries satisfy that crispy craving without the heavy grease of regular fries
  • You can customize every topping, making it perfect for picky eaters or adventurous palates
02 -
  • Overmixing the turkey mixture makes tough burgers—stop as soon as everything is combined
  • Sweet potato fries need space on the baking sheet or they'll steam instead of crisp
  • Turkey must reach 74°C (165°F) internally, but don't overcook or they'll dry out
03 -
  • Make a small indentation in the center of each raw patty to prevent the burger from puffing up into a ball shape
  • Let the cooked patties rest for a few minutes before serving so the juices redistribute
